Got another done this weekend.

5-1/2"W x 5-5/8"H (w/ finial). Finished with Seal-A-Cell and buffified.

Don't forget almost perfect. Neal, on the photo, there is a shiny spot on the forward bulge of the HF, goes almost from one side to the other. Is this just in the photo, or is it on the bowl?

Tom, that's a photo tent artifact. I originally had a black hole from the tent opening and tried to cover it with a front flap. The flap didn't do a very good job.

That's beautiul. The form and proportion are excellent, and the finish is amazing. The finial is stunning, and so crisply defined. I'm really looking forward to seeing more of your work.

A lovely piece Neal. EI rosewood is rather porous, how did you deal with that In your very smooth finish if you don't mind?:D:D

This one actually seems better than the previous EIR HF, which I thought was perfect at the time. Am certainly not qualified to judge, but the finial seems a bit crisper and better formed on the new one, and the HF shape is a little different.

But I like the earlier photo better. Not quite as "busy" on the front of the piece. Wish I could see (and photograph) one in person.
