simple DC question

I am curious where to find a female to female adapter to connect the 2 1/4" OD hose on a Craftsman shop vac to a standard 2 1/2" OD fitting? I'd like to retain the original hose, no need to get a new one. I see adapters at Rockler and LV but am not sure which one would work :confused:

Also check Woodcraft. The best bet I have found is taking the pieces right into the retail store for test fitting. Wood craft had something that did fit the shop-vac, but I don't recall what size the other end was.

Try Peachtree Woodworking. They carry a pretty good selection of DC fittings at reasonable prices.
