Greetings:

I entered another piece in the monthly judging at the Gulf Coast Woodturner's Club meeting today, a cherry bowl 10" in diameter and 4.5" tall.

Ended up with a first place in the Intermediate Category. I'll have to compete with the Advanced group next time.

Excellent. The advanced group will have to be prepared to congratulate you on all your future "Blue Ribbons".
Outstanding work and detail to the rim, form and finish.

All-

I saw that piece today, and Tom actually let me hold it in my hands (after winning the ribbon, he had the Eagle Eye on me while it was removed off of the table). It has great form and one heck of a finish - the pictures don't do this bowl justice.
