Has anyone delt with the calibration disk offered by Freud? Heres a link for it http://www.freudtools.com/images/product/calsandisk.jpg
I've been working towards the .001 woodworker status and was wanting something a little more substantial for running my dial indicator against. I know theres a supper bar/super plate combo that can be purchased, but the price on the disk from Freud is more to my liking. I've just purchased an old RAS for $5 at a yard/estate sale and figure since I got such a gloat worthy deal on the saw, I can splurge on accesories for it (and the shop). :D
Anybody whos used calibration disks or plates or what ever please let me know.
Blessed Be
Aaron

I bought a calibration disk, not the Freud but from Jesada. The only advantage to having one, is that I have 10 inch sanding disks and can use the saw as a disk sander. I could not get my table saw set up any more accurate using the calibration disk than I could by using the saw blade. Than said, I would opt for a Master Plate if I were buying just for saw set-up.
