need some plans for a tilting floor mirror

I want to make a tilting floor mirror the opens to a jewerly box for my little girl for her birthday. I made one long ago that was pretty plain, my skills and tools have come along way since then and I would like to make something nicer. I am a turner and her favorite woods are bloodwood and curly maple so I figure I will use a combo of the two.

And design ideas out there? or plans?
