8 1/4" x 2 3/4" bowl finished with DO beal buff w/carnuba. Looks so much better in this form than all those nasty walnuts that littered my yard for years :D. My photo skills certainly don't do the pretty color and grain any justice. Thanks for looking.

Terry, that is a really nice bowl. I like that style bowl. The walnut and the way you centered the grain makes it even better. Thanks for sharing.

Centering the grain can be a difficult thing to do. U sure hit a homer on this piece. Form and finish are first rate. I like the rim treatment too...Bill..

Thanks guys for all the kind remarks. Although I was trying, I think that centering the grain was as much good fortune as it was skill :). I'lll be sending this bowl to my dad in Oklahoma.
