Vega model 24?

I could not find much information on the net about this lathe, can anyone here tell me more? I might have access to a model 24.

Does it have Variable speed?

I have heard of Vega and IIRC they are quality lathes. Opinions?

If you need service, what kind of company is Vega?

Does it have any kind of tailstock?

What would be a good price if it is in good condition?

Is the model 24 still being made?

Any other information would be appreciated.
