I am really noticing alot of deep scrathes on my dw735 planer bed, must be from chips getting under boards and scrathing the bed.
Does anyone else have this problem and how do you deal with it?

I have a few scratches from light use. I don't worry about it too much - as long as the wood moves through smoothly, I don't see any impact. A little paste wax on the bed helps keep things moving nicely, not sure if it helps with the scratches.

I got some on my 734 from running a board with the wrong side down. Some gnarly knot material with sharp projections did quite a number under pressure ;-) I removed the platen and ran my ROS over it with 400 grit paper after taking care of a few ridges by hand. Wiped it down with mineral spirits and waxed it well; reinstalled, no worries.
