Hi all,
I may be in the wrong forum as I am cutting tactile letters using Romark ADA material applied to silver anodised using a rotary engraving machine . Its working fine but the adhesive is remaining on the anodised surface and it is a pain to remove. Any tips on how to approach this job.

Thanks in advance for any help.

GooGone should do the trick. Try cooking oil too.

The best stuff is this but it will attack some plastics rapidly. Such as microwave oven doors (how would I know that).

There may be a better way to do the job.

Try kiss cutting the plastic just down to the carrier. Weed it and apply transfer tape as if you were doing a vinyl sign. Lift the text from the carrier and transfer it to the aluminum as one piece. Use a squeegee to press it to the alum. Lift off the transfer tape.

No mess no cleanup.
