A pretty nondescript piece of sycamore. 8-1/2" dia. x 13-3/4" tall. Walls at about 1/8". Finished with antique oil and buffed. All comments welcome.

The grain sure seems to work well with your chosen form. Great finish too...Bill...

Beautifully shaped for that shape. More difficult than it looks to create that length of continuous smooth curvature. And then there's all that time spent removing shavings from the interior. When the wood is plain (tho nice), the shape (form, if you must) speaks for the piece.

Keith - beautiful form! Love the long tapering curve to the foot! 1/8" thick is quite the feat for that shape! Like Richard mentioned - must have been monotonous to remove all the shavings!

Very nice work - thanks for sharing!

Keith.....interesting form. The wood is pretty and the finish is great. I agree it must have been tough getting that continuous curve. Nicely done Sir!

That's wonderful, Keith. A good example of where the form is the highlight!
