I rec'd this e-mail today, and have no such tracking number for any recent shipments. In fact it doesn't look like a valid tracking number. If you are a UPS shipper watch out for this one. Luckily it sounded odd to me and I checked before downloading and found this:

Subj: Your Tracking # 3224847087 Date: 11/10/08 10:00:10 AM Pacific Standard Time From: irrriqpe@xxxxxxxxx.xxx (irrriqpe@brandvelocity.com) To: joe@bellevuesign.com File: UPSINVOICE_87612.zip (55184 bytes) DL Time (TCP/IP): < 1 minute Sent from the Internet (Details) (aolmsg://013e8f30/inethdr/1)

My wife got one the other day that said it was the tracking number for the hard drive I had ordered. She called me at work to verify that I hadn't ordered one, which I hadn't. It was good that she was skeptical of the email. I'm sure it is another way to either gather information, or spread a virus. Sounds like variations on a theme. Jim.

My ISP blocked it too.
