Hello

I'm going to buy a laser engraver for my small business. I have found two companies in China that produces lasers.

1) Rabbit HX3040 40w link : http://www.hxlaser.com/products/3040.htm

2) 4040 50w link : http://www.itopchina.com/products.aspx?type=Laser%20Engraver

Can you give me some comments about these lasers, which laser should I choose?

Hyvaa Paiva Matti.

Buy American. We have a Universal ILS, out of Arizona.
Fantastic quality, service and follow-up.

Epilog is a wonderful machine and their customer service is great. I can get help from many different places for my elpig if I can't get in contact with my sales rep.

Since he asked about chinese lasers I guess that american lasers migth be a little more expensive than he is prepared to pay.

I dont have any experience about any of the mentioned lasers but i have had a Redsail, RS3040A. I got nice result engraving with that laser and a little less good results cutting (it had different speed in X- and Y-direction). The main drawback with chinese lasers are the lack of support and that it takes a long time to get spareparts. There is one thing that i miss on my new laserpro laser, and that is the know to adjust the laserpower. It is really useful when trying new materials since you can adjust the power while engraving until you get optimal result.

If you can afford it i would recommend that you buy an epilog, universal or laserproi if you are planning to use it to earn money. If you are going to use it for hobby i would go for a chinese laser.

The pictures at http://www.bildgravyr.se (http://www.bildgravyr.se/) are made on the chinese laser (except for the image with blue background).

Nice work Niklas! I found one of your pages "Modeller" that had pictures that weren't showing, all the rest appeared correctly.

I know, the page is under development. Thats why my "old" pictures (from the chinese laser) are still there. ;)
