Hi
I may have a project engraving wood mixing spoons for the holidays. The ones they sell in Walmart or the supermarket are okay but kind of cheap in feel and appearance and cost. i noticed that there are better quality wood spoons available in the stores which would be my preference but they were pretty pricey for this project

Anyone know of a supplier with quality engraveable spoons-priced for resale. (The client suggested bamboo spoons as an alternative thought)

You might go to Cost Plus World Market, and see if you can find any identifying manufacturer or importer labels on them (they have bamboo spoons) or else talk to the store manager about a quantity discount.

I saw some at Dollar Tree that were bamboo.

I did a 100 or so Olive wood spoons for a Italian wedding a few years ago.. The customer supplied the spoons, and they got them at a Grocery store (Zehrs, if your in Canada) I did not ask what they paid for them, but I'm sure they were more than a dollar.. The Olive wood engraved very nicely..
