Photo engraving on Basswood !!! Question for Legend 36EXT - 60w Owners

Can anyone tell me what the settings should be for photo engraving on basswood? I'm actually struggling to find out the proper technique...
How many lacquer coats should I apply? What settings to be used on Legend 36EXT - 60W ? Should I do it Basic or 3D? Etc...
So... anyone that engraved basswood on a 36EXT - 60W Legend, please share the information. Much appreciated ...

Hi I use 35W mini the best setting for bass wood on this system is 40S 90P

Thanks Zaav. I'll try that. I see you are pretty new into the laser engraving area (just like me). I hope you'll have some good turnovers.

I have done some fridge magnets with a lighthouse on them using 80 power 100 speed. I would put a thin coat of polyurethane, light sand and clean then laser.
