I just aquired an old Legacy 1000 Ornamental Mill. It is an old model with steel rails instead of aluminum rails. It is in very good condition with a few small parts missing. Legacy no longer has much in the way of support for this model. So I have some questions for someone that owns this model.
The router sub base is broken.
I need to know how long the sub base needs to be including the template follower?
Does the router carrage just set on the rails?
It apears to me that there should be some way to lock the carrage down so it cannot lift up while routing.
