I am building another restaurant in Laguna. It will be called "Watermarc". I want to use live edge slabs for the bar and 2 community tables in the bar area. Yes I could make these myself, but I am busy with other things. So I am looking for a woodworker or a source to have the tops made and ready for installation. They should be finished with a protective semi gloss finish that is protective. The sizes are 2 tables 8' x 30". The bar is 15' x20" and te return is about 6'-6" . The bar is "L" shaped. I would like them at least 2" thick. Wood color should be medium dark like rosewood, acacia , walnut, bubinga . Any sources or interest would be appreciated. Also what is a reasonable estimate for the tops? Much appreciated!

This place came up on a forum thread (not sure if here or elsewhere) and I bookmarked it

Hearne hardwoods http://www.hearnehardwoods.com/
or Talarico http://www.talaricohardwoods.com/

Are great sources.
Best of luck with the new venture.

I've bought walnut slabs from here before:

I was happy with what I received.

I would post this question on the architectural forum of the woodweb. I bet you will get an offer very quickly.
