I can't find my user manual. Can someone please give me directions on how to engrave rubber stamps on a ULS? Thanks.

Craig,

1) create the stamp in corel (box and text)
2) fill the box black and turn the text white leave the outline red if you want to cut it out.
3) Mirror image horizontally
4) Print
5) go into the properties and set your power and speed probably 100P 20 speed 500ppi image density 5
6) change the print MODE to Rubber Stamp and then click on configure
UN check the two boxes Invert Page and Mirror page.
7) Focus and go
8) be prepared for strong smell

thanks Mike. It's been over a year since I've done it, and while I couldn't remember how to do it it, i do remember that smell.

I haven't done rubber stamps on my ULS. Does it do a pretty good job? I know I don't want to do it as a business but would be nice to make a couple for internal needs.

Bob,

It does do a good job it is messy and it stinks but if you are only going to do smaller internal stamps it is not that bad.

Try contacting:
Millenium Marking Co. Inc. Ph. 847-806-1750.
2600 Greenleaf Ave., Elk Grove Village, IL 60007

Ask for samples of ML-80414 No Odor Laser Rubber and ML 80413 Laserable Polymer. The samples are free the sheets cost about $10.00 per 8"x10" sheet. Sample size is approx 4"x6".

We have used both. Neither has any odor to speak of.
