Hi, I'm Kim Hyongte. I live in Seoul, South Korea.
I'm not good at English, so there may be some mistakes in
my English.

I bought a 14" JET bandsaw with riser last year. I have
used Olson's 1/16" width blades(105" long) since then. I
use my bandsaw mostly for scroll works.

A few days ago, I tried to purchase 1/16" blades again.
But, I couldn't. Olson said that they made the 1/16" blades
no longer.

I still want to use 1/16" blades, but I don't know where I
can get them. Could anyone kindly tell me where I can buy
them online?

I would try suffolkmachinery.com. They will give you good advice and they'll have whatever you need. Don't know if they can ship overseas, or at what cost, but a call couldn't hurt.

By the way, your English is way better than my Korean.:o Welcome to the Creek. We'd like to see some woodworking pictures from your part of the world.

Hello, welcome to the creek.

Starrett makes 1/16" Band saw blades in 100' rolls.

http://catalog.starrett.com/catalog/catalog/groups.asp?GroupID=138

If I where you, I would contact them at this online contact form...

http://www.starrett.com/pages/29_contact_starrett.cfm

And ask them where they have recently shipped a roll too.

They usually sell rolls to people who make up blades for others. The buyer of the rolls could give you a price on a blade..

As I said, welcome to the creek and hang around some.

I'll echo what John said - try Suffolk Machinery - although they only list down to 1/8" blades on their blade chart, they may have something that's not listed.

Welcome to the SMC forum! By the way, your English is as good, or better, than most of ours on here!

Hi Kim! Welcome aboard.

Suffolk Machinery makes Timberwolf blades. What's nice about them is when you call, you actually talk to a real person who knows something about bandsaw blades. When I ordered my blades, I spoke to a very nice and very knowledgable young lady who helped me to select a resaw blade for my saw.

Since Suffolk Machinery is a small outfit, I think they'd be more likely to be flexible when shipping overseas. Give them a call. It will cost you only long distance.
