Wixey Calipers

Anyone have these and ever changed the battery? The destructions say to pull the battery tray out. I can get the tray about 1/4" out, but that's it. Anyone else had this problem?

I have the same calipers. And the same problem as well. What I had to do was to get a very small flathead screwdriver and insert it underneath the plastic bit that holds the battery and gently pry it out a bit farther. I was then able to grab the plastic and pull it and battery all the way out.
