Shop Time Yesterday - **PICS**

I managed to do something other than Freedom Pen work yesterday so off to the shop :D

I put the finish on this cherry goblet I made a week or so ago.
I decided after the 4 coats of oil I had put on it to apply
polyurethane for protection. Sprayed it with 4 light coats.

I also turned a mequite bowl which I had roughed out last week and soaked in LDD:

Still full of energy I got in my stock of 30 year old 10/4 walnut :rolleyes:
whacked off 2 pieces 5½" x 5½" and made a bowl with a hollow lid.

I originally made a walnut knob on the top and then decided to dress
it up and turned a maple burl knob for it.

Those are some beautiful pieces of work. This board is going to be hazardous to my wallet eventually. All of you turners keep posting the fruits of your labor , which makes me think' "Hey, that looks like fun" :D Guess I'll just have to start saving up for a spinny thing of my own. :rolleyes:
