I have an extra 19" LCD now that we've replaced our home PC with a laptop. It only has a 15-pin input. I have another 19" though that has both the DVI and 15 pin inputs that I could switch out. I'd like to use it as a TV for in my office for those times when I need background noise, etc. Is there some kind of magic widget that will either take an RF input and turn it to a VGA signal or does someone make a DTV converter box that would work? I couldn't find the latter and I'm not even sure what the prior would be called to try to find one. I don't want to involve a computer so the TV tuner cards won't work for my purposes.

if you want to use the one with DVI, DVI can be adapted to hdmi (which most cable/sat boxes these days should have). any best buy or circuit city or such should have them for about 10 bucks.

if you wan to use the VGA, you can convert VGA to component but those adapters are a bit more pricey, i believe there's a colorspace conversion between VGA and component.

Check out Monoprice (http://www.monoprice.com/products/subdepartment.asp?c_id=104&cp_id=10419) for all sorts of cheap adapters ... DVI to RCA for $5.89, DVI to HDMI for $3.89, etc. They have some VGA adapters also (is that what your first monitor's 15 pin input is? I suspect so).
