I was looking at the same drill press, they have it at Lowe's for $369. I would be interested in your impressions.

I believe you are thinking of the 17-950L for $369 at Lowe's which is not what is in the pic. Although, if anyone knows where to get Roberts DP for under $400, I'm all over it, newspaper or not! :D:D:D

That thing has a massive CI table. Is that dial up top a speed control - no way:eek:?

It is variable from 200 to 2500 RPM.

Nice DP, but if that is a basement shop, shouldn't the craft-paper side of the insulation be facing the top?

I stand corrected, the model he posted was 20-950 and it is more in the $800 range. I guess $369 would cause a stampede at Lowes.
