Haven't seen that one before but, years ago while building dies we had a die maker who used a carpenters tape to measure stock for a die. This tape was graduated to measure a 2 x 4 as 2" x 4" rather than 1 1/2" x 3 1/2" . He sure ruined some steel for the job. He also never forgot about it as we constantly ribed him about it.

Perhaps in the 80's it was called a Dummy Tape Measure, but today the correct terminology is 'Thought Process Impaired Tape Measure'. Let's be correct around here. :) :)

BTW, as Lars suggested, please update your name per the TOS and hang around the Creek for a while!
