Here are a couple pics of my first attempt at pen making, and a desktop business card/pen holder to keep them in. I was thinking maybe a brass nameplate on the face.(?) Sorry for the bad pic quality, just quick snaps. Critiques, pointers, tips and suggestions welcome!
Thanks!

I love the use of the bullet/cartridge. Can you elaborate on how you did that? Which cartridge? Which pen kit?
I'd love to make one of these with antler for the upper portion. I also have it in the back of my mind to do the same thing but with an arrow for the lower portion.
Very cool. Good job!

Jerry, very nice job on the pens and holder. Great choices of wood to use.

Russ, there are tutorials in the library at International Association of Penturners. website on how to make various types of cartridge pens.

Russ, sorry for the delay in responding. I actually bought the kit from the following site: http://littlerivercrafts.home.mindspring.com/Supplies/ Made it very easy for a beginner like me. Next time maybe I'll try to start from scratch just to see if I can do it.

Great Looking pens and holder I found that Penn State is selling bullet pen kits but push button. No copper bullet instead it maches the shell. (out of stock of course)
