My wife does not like capped pens. No matter how nice the kit. I've mader her cigars, streamlines and slimlines. Do any of you folks know about any good quality kits that are a double or single twist and about the size of a cigar? 90% of my sales are cigars, so I may try selling whatever kit she likes down the road. As a pen geek and an engineer, she's a very good critic.

Since I'm starting to make Christmas presents for other people, I thought I'd show her a different kit. If I can find one. Price isn't really an issue. Well, I don't want to spend $100 for a kit, but $20-$30 would be ok.

And are present requests starting to stack up for anyone else? Holy cow. I'm never going to finish that bed for my son. Oops. Sorry, I almost used the F word...

Thanks.

Well you have the fancy cigars called ultra cigars. About 1/2 way down on this page: http://www.arizonasilhouette.com/Berea_Hardwoods_Pen_Kit_Images.htm

Then you can always thicken up a Olympia which makes it about 1/2 way between a cigar and a slimline.

Or the Jr Gentleman's pen in ball point

Those would be my 3 suggestions for twist pens.
