LN LV Vises

Hi I am in the process of building the Schwarzapffel bench. Time for selecting the vises. Does anyone have experience with any of the vises sold by Lie-Nielsen? Are they any better quality than the Veritas ones? Specifically, I am looking at the LN twin screw and the LN Shoulder vise. Thanks in advance.

I cant speak for the Twin or Shoulder but the Tail Vise from them is of good quality.

Of the 1000's of things I've read about the LV twins, maybe one or two weren't gushing about them. I just cheaped out and bought 2 LV front vices, one to serve as a stop gap til I make or buy a twin for a tail vice.
Their front vice is better then the generic imported ones too. Can't speak for the others...

I have the larger quick release front vise from LN - excellent quality, tight tolerances, very solid. Not sure but the maker might be a German company Gebruder Busch, one of the last old firms still making vices since Record closed/sold off. No experience with the LV.
