Ok so I have a Delta 37-380 8" jointer. I put a Byrd shelix head on it today. I had to shim one end to get it level with the table, got that done. So now I check and set the height for the outfeed table using the nick test for set up. Both end cutters are the same height but the middle doesn't nick my straight edge like the end pieces do. I made a test cut and it came out great. Should I worry about that little detail ? And if so how do I correct it ?
