I've had my Jet 6" in daily (commercial) use for 5 years or so... If it's set up right (tables co-planar, tight tolerances, etc.) you'll find that once you set the blades, you won't have to fiddle with it - ever. Mine's rock-solid.

Very nice. Jet tools have a nice look to them. I also prefer buying Taiwanese over the one that seems to be filling the Borg with inventory.

I had one just like it for several years and it served me well. I sold it to a good friend about a year ago for $350.00 to upgrade to an 8" Steel City so I think you got a good deal on yours. It seems quite clean from your photos.
