So last night I’m up Late looking over Cl for a Jointer and Planer when I find an ad for hard wood cheap sat sun only.
So I shoot off an email asking for a address.
This morning before church I find that he has emailed a address (nothing else) no times, dollar amount, phone number ,type of wood; nothing.
Off to church I go after which I have a appointment to see a jet jointer (another story).
Any way i I talk TLOML into riding with me to check out this potential wood source.
Well to describe this guy’s wood shop/ storage area as a mess would be a massive understatement. It was a shed no bigger than 15x20 filled with wood in all states of finish, with one little path into and out of this mess. And his yard surrounding this little slice of heaven looked like the shed did, but only outside.
Unfortunately I went to church first, as he told me all the cherry was gone from earlier that morning,
But I was able to find a few pieces (all different hard woods)I could use.
That cherry in front of the van, is 3.5 in. thick.
The best part was it was all $1 a liner foot.
