I think my hard drive is dying. About a week ago my PC started taking about 12-15 minutes to boot up. It passed the disk check & scan and I defragmented the drive. Once it does boot, it seems to run fine.
I would like to reload the OS (Win2000 pro) and see if that helps. I bought a 500GB external drive and started moving my music, pictures and other important files over to it.
How can I save all of my email messages? I tried to export them but it wants an MS Exchange server.
I’m shopping for a new PC but would like to salvage this one for my granddaughter, if I can.
