So today while I was out garage sale shopping I heard and advertisement for my local ace hardware that was having there end of summer tent sale. I decided to stop by and take a look... I'm glad I did. The cashier told me I missed out cause they had alot more powertools and tons more freud router bits that were boughtout the day before.

Here is my list of what I picked up with there original sale price and what I paid.

Makita

1. 3 3/8" ogee raised panel bit 733305-a $169.99 / $32.00
2. 2 5/8" ogee raised panel bit 733303-a $119.99 / $24.00
3. Ogee rail and stile bit 733306-a $139.99 / $24.00
4. Cove rail and stile bit 733337-a $189.99 / $36.00
5. 45 deg lock miter bit 733335-a $169.99 / $32.00
6. 1/16" slot cutter with arbor 733330-a $19.99 / $4.60
7. 3/8 keyhole bit 733010-1a $17.99 / $5.00
8. 1/2 dovetail bit with 1/2 shank 733265-a $21.99 / $4.40

Freud
9. 3/16" full carbide straight bit 04-102 $14.99 / $3.00
10. 1/4" full carbide straight bit 04-106 $14.99 / $3.00
11. 1/4" full carbide straight bit 04-108 $14.99 / $3.00
12. 1/2" flush trim bit with bearing 42-106 $16.99 / $3.40
13. 1/2" dovetail bit 1/4" shank 22-104 $16.99 / $3.40
14. 1/2" round nose bit $24.99 / $5.00
15. 1/4" 3 wing slot cutter $17.99 / $3.60

So retail would have been $972, I paid just over $200 with tax!!

Sorry if i rubbed it in but loml didn't understand why this was exciting! and yes I'm probably going to have to sell some of them off to make back my $. I will post an add in the clasifieds soon or everyone's favorite auction site maby, but I really don't want to give any of them up. lol.

That is a great score. Wonder why they were selling them out so far below cost. Must have wanted to get rid of them.

An ACE just opened up by me. Can't say I saw any router bits. Saw blades mostly didn't even have carbide teeth. Didn't think they made them that way anymore.

Major score. I love it when stuff like this happens.

If you plan on selling them off for a profit on the classifieds here, you may not want to go posting the price you actually paid. But then again, there might be a few here who wouldn't mind paying half price even if you made 200%.
