Hello,
Now that the router table is about finished, I can finally get around to making some ZCIs for my Ridgid TS 3660.
Will 1/4" stock work?
The factory insert appears to be 3/8".

You need to make the insert fit the depth of the opening. I used to use 1/4" luan on my craftsman TS for zc inserts but found that the insert would deflect as pieces went across. I solved that problem by gluing a 3/4 x 1/2 rib on the bottom with teh 3/4 dim vertical. This made the zci much stiffer.

I did what Lee did while I had one of those. I used a joined strip of oak. I positioned it so it would accept the holes for the MJ Splitter I used. My dad now has the saw and does the same. No problem.
