I've been reading the turning forums for a while now and have learned alot
so a big thanks to all the people here

I've turned a few items and thought I should show-off this maple bowl

the bowl is 12" dia and 3" deep sanded it and finished with a hard pastewax finish

Love those maple bowls. Welcome to the light. I lurked in the dark for a long time, trying to gauge whether I fit in this forum. Well, it is a friendly bunch here and a wealth of information and experience. As you can see, I live in small town USA and no turning clubs within 100 miles or so. This place has taught me a lot about turning. It is a fun hobby but reading books, watching videos and reading SMC makes it much more enjoyable. Jump in...
