I used this blade for the first time today. I amazed me how clean it left the wood - absolutely no tear out (frazzled edges). I cut some 8/4 beech, and you cannot tell the jigsaw cut from a well sharpened chop saw or table saw cut. Bosch T308B!

I think I read a review on those in one of my mags this month?! Where did you find them, at the borg?

The current issue of Popular Woodworking says the same thing. Must be something to it:).

Good blades and a good jigsaw and you can get excellent results! Considering I grew up on a Craftsman 1/3 Hp, I never knew a 'good' jigsaw could cut so nicely! I happen to have a Festool barrel-grip w/blades and it is just as good.

Is that the blade that cuts on both the up and down stroke?

That's the one. Popular Woodworking liked it. Here's an actual cut.

I'll have to try one of those at some point.
