Thinking about a dust collector!

I am looking at two units from Grizzly the Model G1029Z 2 Hp with a 2.5 Micron Bag and the Model G0548 with the Canister Filter rated at 1 micron. I am wondering if there is any advantage to the Canister over the Bag other ten more filtering. Is 2.5 Micron filter enough for a home shop? I am looking at the Grizzly stuff because they are 10 min. from if I should need anything.

Finer the better. 2.5m looks like a boulder to your lung-sacs

Do a search about the affects of wood dust on your lungs. I would go with .5 micron if possible.
