bad photo but this is something ive made recently and thought it was a nice idea... simple 2 sheets of acrylic with some nice brass rivets to hold it all together.

It's most certainly different. Did you consider enhancing the engraving by rubbing white acrylic paint into it and then polishing it off (basically infilling). That would make it stand out even more.

i havnt eally got into much inkfilling yet besides the occasional text jobs.... regular acrylic paint from a tube? can you tell me about the polishing process? like i said right now im just taping stuff off engraving deep letters and peeling off the tape.. i can filll things this shallow?
