First do a lot of cutting of cardstock so you have a little pile of chads under your vector table.

Next, cut some thick material and set the power to 100 and a slow enough speed that the beam goes all the way through and ignites the chads. You'll have a nice little blaze going in no time. :rolleyes:

Fortunately, I was watching carefully when this happened and it wasn't a problem. I just blew it out like a birthday candle but I think the incident is worth mentioning here, might save somebody some real trouble. One more reason to keep everything in the workshop clean and tidy! :)
