HD (in Canada) has a 20% off sale on all compressors and nailers. Does anyone have any experience with the MAC700-KIT3? It is a 2HP oil lubricated 2.6 gallon compressor which includes a 18 gauge (AF505) brad nailer in the kit. Any feedback would be appreciated.
thanks

I have had the MAC700 compressor for a little over a year now. I did a lot of research before purchasing it. It had great reviews everywhere I looked. It is definitely one of the most quiet compressors I have worked around. It handles all the nailers I use well including a framer. I would recommend this unit to anyone. I can't help you on the nailer that's included though.

I've used the AF505 for about a year and satisfied overall:
++++
Excellent fit and finish
No jams

IME 100psi+ pressure required to countersink the brads. This is
fine for my occasional hobby use but I would worry about running at
a high pressure in professional use.

Does require oil -- not a problem for me but could be for some
