I have been lurking behind the scenes for a while now and figured it was time to come out and say hi. I figured a good start would be a quick shop tour. I am a hobbyist woodworker that is out in the shop every Fri, Sat, and Sunday till its time to drag myself back to my real job..... The shop is on the smaller side so organization and cleanliness is the key. Its 14x24 Suncrest. The misses says all I need now is a bed:eek:.. Think she is trying to tell me something??? It has AC/Playstation/Direct TV and a fridge..I am still trying to figure out why she would say such a thing....

JD,

Welcome to the Creek! Nice, tidy shop...ah, perhaps one day mine will be...neat...and...tidy..... ;)

Couple of questions:

(1) What the heck is your roll-around bench top made of?? Seriously, it looks like that green foam stuff one sticks dried/fake flower into! ;)

(2) What the heck are the circles on the floor for?

(1).. Its a sheet of 3/4 ply with lots of leveling poly. The holes are for shop made Dogs cut from wooden dowels. The table it self had a metal top and was a freebie that I couldn't turn down. Very heavy and was scared I would cut or drill into it and ruin a good blade or bit.

(2) The circles are a template for wishing wells. I use the outer side and it works out to be small med and jumbo. Jumbo is 4ft across.
