I would like to run a newer version of Corel Draw, but I was told from Universal laser that there is only a driver for Win98. I attempted to load the driver it would not load in XP. I loaded Virtual PC on my XP computer then I installed Win98 on the Virtual PC.

Virtual PC (free from Microsoft) allows another operating system to run within a window on a XP system.

The ULS25 driver loaded properly on the Virtual PC Win98. I tried to share the ULS25 printer with my XP system and the XP wanted to load the driver and of course the driver won’t work in XP, so back to square one.

So, does anyone have a way to use CorelDraw X3 with a ULS25? Do I need to use an older version of CorelDraw? If so which version.

Maybe I don’t need a newer version of Corel for Laser Engraving?! Any thoughts?

I started with version 8 but I believe I went to version 11 with Win 98 second edition.
