My local customer wants to do pocket knives for her team this Christmas and I've seen these sold retail in gift shops. I just looked on our suppliers list and don't see anyone who carries those anywhere? Does anyone have any suggestions as to what vendor would carry those wooden pocket knives so I can engrave their logo and individual's name on each side?

Thanks!
Tracey

Laserbits has the rosewood 8 function pocket knife (WHK 056) for sale in their discontinued section ($3.13/knife).

LaserGifts has been less expensive but I do not know how they compare in quality with the ones from Laserbits. In rough use (same pocket as keys) the rosewood knives scratch up pretty quickly.

Tropar has them. All I've seen from suppliers so far are made in China and not really good quality.

These people have higher end knives to the lower end. Remember you get what you pay for. I have use these people and am quite satisfied. Ask your customer if this is a keepsake that will not get much use or if they are intend to be a heavy use item. In either case they can go either direction in price. I personally use my knife quite often and won't buy a low quality knife. But, I also don't go buying expensive name brands just to get a branded item. I make suggestions to my customers and then ultimately let them decide. Informed and satisfied customers are ones that keep coming back. Oops, better climb off the soapbox before someone knocks me off of it. Have a great day!

Thanks everybody! I just called her and she's now thinking something more durable, so I'm probably going to suggest stainless steel or an anodized surface since it sounds like a gift for her workers to use (it's a horse tack & feed store).
