I shipped fifteen pens in mid-March and on Easter Sunday received the first "thank you" e-mail. In the weeks that followed I got three more e-mails thanking me for the pen. If fact, one of the people put me on his weekly newsletter mailing list so now every Sunday I get a note telling me (and about fifty others) what he did that week.
But, today I received a post card. It was a official "Operation Iraqi Freedom" post card. The message was:
"Thank you for the pen. I have used it and will continue to do so. As a Chaplain I understand the importance of communication and morale. May God bless you and your family. Thank you for your support; one soldier to another."
I'm sure he has included all the pen turners from Saw Mill Creek in his blessing. This just made my day and probably the rest of the week as well. :)
