This one measures 7 wide and 3 high with a shellawax finish. Some pretty nice curl in this piece that the pics don't show. Thanks for looking.

I bought hollowing tools over the weekend and did my first attempt this afternoon. Went well until I got a tad thin in the bottom. Yep, made a funnel. Put about a 1/16" hole in the bottom.
Hopefully mine will look as good as yours someday.

Love the form! That is some really nice looking walnut and the finish gives the grain some depth! Great job on the thickness! I am still a little leary of getting below 3/16" but have to admit I like the look!
