Hi Guys,
First post (long time lurker), so take it easy on the noob :)! Great site.

Quick question:
I recently set up a new table saw and there is a very tiny burr on top of the left cast iron wing... how would you recommend filing this down? It's just tall enough to mark a board up. Thanks in advance!

Lay the file flat on the table and file across the burr. This will cut it down to the table height. Use a fine mill file.

With a file-VERY GENTLY KNOCK OFF THE TOP OF THE BURR!!!!!
Then, I would take an Arkansas stone or a very fine water stone to finish the spot. You'll be left with a small (I suppose) divot, but it won't matter in the bigger scheme.

I would take a fine oil stone and a couple of swipes should do the trick...
