I got the lathe mostly back together today. I need to pick up a new belt for it. Checked the bearings and they seem to be fine. I'll post a few pix in the next few days.
Off the subject, I am posting the website of a friend from Kona, Hawaii. If you want to see an example of fine woodworking, this is some of the best I have ever seen. Tai Lake is a few years younger than I am (60) and he has now gotten his two sons involved in his work. Take the time to scan his website. Tai is the ultimate example of a woodworker's dream. He inherited a complete machine shop from his dad and turned it to woodworking with machine tools. Talk about precision! Enjoy.
