Hi, I have been slowly working toward more distinctive and expensive woods and am attempting to educate myself a little in this direction.
I checked out "The Encyclopedia of Wood", Aidan Walker. from the library. This seems like a book I should own.
Amazon only had a couple reviews and an SMC search did not turn up much.
Is this a good beginner reference or would my $$$ go further somewhere else?
I have already decided to buy Understanding Wood Finishing , Bob Flexner. I love this book!
Thanks in advance,
Colin
