I am trying to cut a square with a letter inside it. I want the letter to join the square at rhe top and bottom. CorelDraw x3 is what i use. This is driving me crazy. HELP Please

I think I understand what you are asking. Draw your square. Draw another square inside that for the text to fit in. Marque select both squares and then type a c and e on the keyboard, that centers to two squares. Now combine these two squares to make it the frame. Now write the text and size to the inside square. Again marque select all and type c and e, text is now centered. Now weld text to the frame.

I am just learning corel and I'm not sure about marque. I tried to weld by the instruction book I could not make it work. Can you please explan in more detail. I have tried to attach file

Hi Susan,
Try the Virtual Segment Delete. It will delete between intersecting points.
