Making some shavings.

Here is a picture of one of my 10th students making shavings from a big chunk of white pine. We started with a 19" log and turned it down to 6". Students had some fun and made a truck load of shavings for dog bedding. Sorry, but I had to white out their faces since they are not 18 years old.

If we had a shop like that, and a teacher like you when I was in school, I would have majored in wood shop!!!!!!!

You have to be very proud of what those young men are doing. Of course, they could never do it without such an outstanding teacher.
