Well, I got the lathe completely stripped down today, sanded everything and started painting it. Should finish tomorrow. I need to replace the centers as they are not in great shape. Does anyone know what taper they are. I can't see any identifying marks on them. As to the belt, is a plain v belt ok or should I pop for a link belt? Or segmented?
Thanks,
Terry

MT2 taper. 1X8 TPI.
I just use the plain old style belt it came with, I am not sure if a link belt will fit the pullies.
Lets see some pics of progress.
