Staved Goblet

Not sure if I like this or not. The goblet turned out fine but now a lady at work wants 4 of them and the wife wants me to make some for the kids Christmas! It stands about 8" tall, made from walnut, lyptus, and yellowheart. All comments welcomed, and if you see something I should have done differant, let me know. I'm new to this and constructive criticism is very welcome.

More of a lamination, not really stave construction. Nevertheless, a good looking piece and easy to see why folks want more of them.

The goblet has an Olde World quality about it. I can imagine Robin Hood and his men sitting at the local inn, each with a goblet such as this filled with ale, as they plot for the return of King Richard. Very nice.

Gerold - we all could sit around and discuss design options but the fact that a lady wants 4 of them and your wife wants some also can only mean that the present design works! If it ain't broke - don't fix it! Have fun with it!
